Graciela Garcia Gonzalez

          Graveside services for ­Graciela Garcia Gonzalez, 84, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, January 17, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Laredo, Texas.

          Mrs. Gonzalez was born December 27, 1937, in La Villa De Burgos, Tamps., Mexico, to Julian Garcia and Evangelina (Huerta) Garcia, and died Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Gonzalez was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an outgoing person that could make you laugh even up until the very end. Mrs. Gonzalez accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and loved him with all her heart before she passed.

          She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Evangelina and Roy Medina-Gonzalez of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Ricardo and Angelica Davila of Laredo, TX; son, Raymundo Gonzalez of Laredo, TX; son, Silverio Gonzalez of Laredo, TX; granddaughter and husband, Amanda and Anthony Flores of Lufkin; granddaughter, Gabriela Medina of Laredo, TX; grandsons, Hector Montemayor, Ismael Gonzalez III, Ivan Gonzalez, Alexander Gonzalez, Michael Gonzalez, and Gabriel Medina, all of Lufkin; grandson and wife, Ricardo Davila, Jr. and Lupita of Laredo, TX; granddaughter and husband, Alexis and Joshua Hernandez of Houston; granddaughter and fiancé, Viana and Carlos Cruz of Houston; granddaughter, Susanna Davila of Laredo, TX; granddaughter, Elsa Davila of Laredo, TX; grandson, Raymundo Gonzalez of Laredo, TX; granddaughter, Mindy Gonzalez of Laredo, TX; grandson, Silverio Gonzalez, Jr. of Laredo, TX; along with numerous great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, cousins, and other relatives.

          Mrs. Gonzalez was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Reymundo Gonzalez

          Pallbearers will be Roy Medina, Anthony Flores, Raymundo Gonzalez, Silverio Gonzalez, Ricardo Davila, and Ivan Gonzalez.

          Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2022, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin and on Monday, January 17, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Aguero Funeral Home in Laredo, Texas, prior to the graveside service.
