Funeral services for Hank Williams Ross, 57, of Huntington, will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Shawnee Church of Jesus Christ in Huntington with Rev. Cary Modisett officiating. Interment will follow at Treadwell Cemetery in Huntington.
Mr. Ross was born October 6, 1963, in Doucette, Texas, to Earl Ross and Hazel (Wood) Ross, and died Monday, August 23, 2021, at his home.
Mr. Ross loved singing and playing the guitar. He enjoyed listening to George Strait and Alan Jackson.
He is survived by his mother, Hazel Ross of Huntington; sisters, Patricia Waldrep, Nelda Martin and husband Bobby, Shirley Meadows, Jo Ann Rice and husband Tony, Frances Collins and husband John, Lisa Cooper and husband Kevin, and Billie Sue Martin; brothers, Michael “Peanut” Ross and wife Missy, Charles Earl Ross and wife Rachel, and James Carroll Ross; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Ross; brother, Alton Earl “Buddy” Ross; nephew, Alton Earl Ross, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Donnie Waldrep.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Waldrep, Davis Ross, Michael Ross, Jr., Greg Snider, Joshua Collins, and Michael “Peanut” Ross.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Shawnee Church of Jesus Christ, prior to the funeral service.
