Harold Edwin Kirtley, Jr.

          Memorial services for Harold Edwin Kirtley, Jr., 83, of Pollok, will be held at a later date.

          Mr. Kirtley was born on October 14, 1941, in Galveston, Texas, to the late Harold Edwin Kirtley, Sr. and Audry (Powell) Kirtley, and died Sunday, August 24, 2025, at his residence.

          Mr. Kirtley was a member of O’Quinn Baptist Church and served in the United States Army. He loved his family very much and was good to everyone. Mr. Kirtley was very close to God. He enjoyed going to dog races. 

          Mr. Kirtley is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margie Kirltey of Pollok; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Michael Dorman of Pollok; grandson, Christopher Kirtley of Pollok; granddaughter, Kirsti Williams of Lufkin; grandson, Travis Kirtley of Lufkin; grandson, Kedan Landers of Norman, OK; granddaughter, Kinsley Baker of Ardmore, OK; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Eddie McLeskey of Douglass.

           He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Danny and Donny Kirtley; and brothers, Charles Lee and William Cornish Kirtley.
