Jackie Palomino

          Funeral services for Jackie Palomino, 46, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at Iglesia Cristiana Bautista in Lufkin with Rev. Marcos Elizondo officiating. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Palomino was born on April 12, 1978, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Olivo and Josefina Lopez, and died Monday, October 21, 2024, in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Palomino enjoyed traveling and going to concerts. She loved to cook, being with her friends and family, and skydiving. Above all, she loved her children and especially her granddaughter. Mrs. Palomino was the life of the party and was the best Tati to her nieces and nephews.

          Mrs. Palomino is survived by her husband, Omar Palomino; daughter, Breanna Palomino and wife Blanca Sanchez; son, Miguel Palomino and wife Ashley Medlock; granddaughter, Raya Palomino; parents, Olivo Lopez and Josefina Lopez; sister, Mari Guerrero; brother, Juan Lopez and wife Elizabeth; brother, Felix Lopez; sister, Gloria and Emilio Farfan; nephew, Eric Guerrero and wife Natalie Dejesus; nephew, Ian Guerrero; niece, Solana Guerrero; niece, Natalie Vazquez and husband Angel Vazquez; nephew Christian Guerrero; niece, Arely Jasso and husband Emmanuel Jasso; niece, Emma Jasso; nephew, Josue Ramirez; nephews, Yazleen Alonso, Ilana and Dario Ramirez; and nieces, Alexis Lopez and Eliana Lopez; nephew, Greyson Williams; niece, Aleaha and husband Nathan Garcia; nephew, Anthony Reyna; niece, Sophia Reyna; niece, Christina Perez; nephew, Nolan Rodriguez; cousin, Cindy Lopez; and cousin, Wendy Rodriguez and husband Carlos.

          She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Felix Jasso; grandmother, Bertha Jasso; grandmother, Magdalena Lopez; aunt, Alicia Jasso; aunt, Rosa Lopez; niece, Lila Vazquez; cousin, Bode Williams; and mother-in-law, Josefa Perez.

          Pallbearers will be Michael Palomino, Emmanuel Jasso, Angel Vazquez, Eric Guerrero, Christian Guerrero, Oscar Cruz, Jr., Roy Chagolla, and Jorrin Thompson.

          Honorary pallbearer will be Sonji Watts.

          Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2024, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
