Jackie Lynn Grissett

          Jackie Lynn Grissett, 77, of Huntington, was born November 1, 1944, in Lufkin, Texas, to I.V. Grissett and Raby Lee (Poland) Grissett, and died Thursday, May 19, 2022, in Huntington.

          Private Graveside services will be held at Manning Cemetery in Huntington.

          Jackie loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and master carpenter.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Sue Grissett of Lufkin, Texas; Niece, Barbara Thompson of Pollok, Texas; nephew and wife, Gary and Charyse Gee of Huntington, Texas; nephew, Larry Gee of Pollok, Texas; and special friend, Sandra Owens of Huntington, Texas; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

          He was preceded in death by his parents, I.V. Grissett and Raby Lee (Poland) Grissett; son, Michael Grissett; sister, Shirlean Gee Barnett; brother-in-law and friend, Elroy Gee; and great niece, Brandi Thompson.
