Jane M. Snyder

          Funeral services for Jane M. Snyder, 66, of Lufkin, will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Clawson Assembly of God Church in Pollok with Pastor Josh Poage and Pastor Kevan Poage officiating. Interment will follow at Largent Cemetery.

          Mrs. Snyder was born on December 12, 1957, Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Frank Schoeplein, Sr. and Mercedes (Green) Peters and died Saturday, May 11, 2024, in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Snyder was a member of Clawson Assembly of God Church. She was an Angelina County master gardener. Mrs. Snyder had many hobbies, including hunting, antiquing, cooking, and baking. She enjoyed traveling, especially to go visit her children. Most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior with all of her heart, mind, and soul.

          Mrs. Snyder is survived by her husband of 14 years, David Snyder of Lufkin; son, Gabriel Healea of Belgrade, MT; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Dusty Otis of Whitefish, MT; son, Jordan Healea of Glendale, CA; son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin and Mallory Healea of Misawa, Japan; son and daughter-in-law, Mathew and Jacqueline Healea of Windsor, CO; daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Timothy Cloeter of Tulsa, OK; son, Simon L. Snyder of Beeville, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Jeremy Newman of Douglass, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Sean Michael and Rachel Snyder of Lufkin; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank Jr. and Michelle Schoeplein, Mike and Jill Schoeplein, Mathew and Shelly Schoeplein, Tony and Maria Schoeplein, and Alex and Mandy Schoeplein; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Katherine Petty, and brother, John Schoeplein.

          Pallbearers will be Benjamin Healea, Mathew Healea, Jordan Healea, Sean Michael Snyder, Zane Newman, and Dusty Otis.

          Honorary pallbearer will be Mickey Petty.

          Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Clawson Assembly of God.
