Janice Palmer

         Funeral services for Janice Palmer, 60, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at White Oak Church in Huntington with Pastor Wayne Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at Gann Cemetery in Pollok.

          Mrs. Palmer was born June 29, 1961, in Lubbock, Texas, and died Monday, March 28, 2022, in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Palmer was a member of Clawson Assembly of God Church and loved her church. She was a great homemaker and enjoyed cooking, yardwork and playing with her grandson. Mrs. Palmer loved her dogs and helping others . She also loved singing, dancing, and going out.

         Mrs. Palmer is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Danielle Palmer of Lufkin; son, Jack Scott of Lufkin; daughter, Jeannie Scott of Trinity; grandson, Travis Palmer of Lufkin; and sister, Jonelle Oliver of Lufkin.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Clifford Clary.

          Pallbearers will be Joshua Brimer, Charles Andrews, Calvin Grimes, Andrew Shoffitt, Robert Andrews and Sean Kendrick.

          Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2022, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
