Janice Marie Freeman

          Private services will be held for Janice Marie Freeman, 69, of Lufkin.

          Mrs. Freeman was born on September 5, 1956, in Gulfport, Mississippi, to the late Lonnie L. Dennis and Mary Elizabeth (Allen) Mann, and died Monday, September 22, 2025, in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Freeman was an avid member of the Apostolic Life Church in Huntington. She loved her family with all of her heart. Mrs. Freeman loved animals and working in her garden, especially with her flowers.

          She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Joe Havard of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Romero Garza of Porter, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie “Buddy” and Karen Dennis of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Ginger and Tom McClelland of Sulphur, LA; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Wendy Dain of Splendora, TX; along with numerous nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, Bella.

           Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ross Freeman; son, Stephen Freeman; and sisters, Minnie Blanks and Alice Wheeler.
