Jasmine Rose Camacho

         Funeral services for Jasmine Rose Camacho, 23, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Bro. Carlos Martinez officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells.

          Jasmine was born on March 8, 2000, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Rudy Rodolfo Camacho and Kimberlee Rose Johnson, and died Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Colorado County, Texas.

          Jasmine loved life and loved to have fun. She enjoyed traveling and taking her son to the zoo. Jasmine also liked going out to eat, especially at a good Chinese restaurant. 

          She is survived by her son, Bryan Jones III of Lufkin; mother, Kimberlee Johnson and husband, David Villalobos of Lufkin; father, Rudy Camacho, Sr. of Navasota, TX; brother, Rudy Camacho, Jr. of Lufkin; sister, Ana Camacho of Lufkin; brother, Justin Camacho of Lufkin; brother, Diego Camacho of Nacogdoches; grandparents, Alphia Belyeu of Lufkin, Elmer Dyson of Leesville, LA, and Victoria Camacho of Nacogdoches; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

          Jasmine was preceded in death by her grandfather; and great-grandparents.

          Pallbearers will be David Villalobos, Samuel Johnson, Billy Dyson, Ana Camacho, Bryan Jones II, and Justin Camacho.

          Honorary pallbearers will be her son, Bryan Jones III.

          Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2024, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
