Jason Brock

          Funeral services for Jason Brock, 54, of Huntington, will be held Friday, October 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Highway Missionary Baptist Church in Huntington with Bro. Lamar Denby and Bro. Jackson Colwell officiating. A Masonic graveside service will follow at Gann Cemetery in Pollok.

          Jason was born on January 5, 1969, in Lufkin, Texas, to Willie Alfred Brock and Rena Mae (White) Brock, and died Monday, October 9, 2023, in Lufkin.

          Jason was a member of Highway Missionary Baptist Church in Huntington and of the Homer Masonic Lodge # 254. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jason loved the outdoors and enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset. He loved his sons very much and he always put his family first.  Jason always knew how to make you laugh, even all the way to the end.

          Jason is survived by his son and fiancé, Cullen Brock and Kayla Simpson of Huntington; son and girlfriend, Dalton Brock and Allie Hostetter of Norfolk, VA; son, Remington Brock of Huntington; granddaughter, Amarah Simpson of Huntington; granddaughter, Galina Brock of Norfolk, VA; mother, Rena Brock of Huntington; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Bobby Weaver of Huntington; sister and brother-in-law, Diana and David Linstrom of Huntington; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

          He was preceded in death by his father.

          Pallbearers will be Cullen Brock, Dalton Brock, Remington Brock, Jimmy Brock, Johnny Naron, Aaron Gillespie and Shannon Golden.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Evett and Bill Griffith.

          Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Highway Missionary Baptist Church in Huntington.
