Funeral services for Jeremy Lane Burns, 48, of Lufkin, will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at First United Pentecostal Church in Lufkin with Pastor Joe Stanley officiating. Interment will be at Gann Cemetery in Pollok.

         Jeremy was born on September 4, 1975, in Lufkin, Texas, to Mike Feagin and Betty (Lynn) Feagin, and died Monday, May 6, 2024, in Lufkin.

          Jeremy was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Lufkin and loved his church. He drove the church van and was active in their outreach program. Jeremy enjoyed reading his bible and studying the scriptures. He worked as an IT technician. Jeremy also liked to play baseball and basketball. 

          He is survived by his parents; Mike and Betty Feagin of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Jennifer Burns of Lufkin; brother, Shaun Burns of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Casey Burns of Huntington; niece, Megan Burns of Lufkin; niece and husband, Lauren and Brad Richuber of Huntington; niece and husband, Hailey and Alec Castleberry of Huntington; niece, Heather Burns of Lufkin; nephew and wife, Colton and Krista Burns of Pollok; and nephew, Logan Burns of Lufkin.

          Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Flora and Elmer Lynn.

          Pallbearers will be Alec Castleberry, Brad Richuber, Noah Jones, Colton Burns, Randall Burns, and Shaun Burns.

          Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2024, at First United Pentecostal Church.
