Jerry Gene Allen

          Jerry Gene Allen, 66, of Tyler, was born June 15, 1957, in Lufkin, Texas, to the late Corbet Elbert Allen and Frances Lenora (Thurman) Allen, and died Saturday, May 18, 2024, in Tyler.

          Mr. Allen was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Lufkin High School in 1977. Mr. Allen enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching NASCAR and football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.

          He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Destiney Allen-Langham and Neal Langham of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter, Jeri Jean Chenoweth of Whitehouse, TX; daughter and fiancé, Emily Chenoweth and Jacob Laster of Canton, TX; grandsons, Ian Langham and Knox Langham; brother, Johnny Wayne Allen of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, David Keith and Darlene Allen of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Paula and John David Bailey of Lufkin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

          Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents.
