Graveside services for Johnny Meyers, 70, of Diboll, will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at White Rock Cemetery in Center with Bro. Ty Phillips officiating.

          Mr. Meyers was born on December 26, 1953, in Diboll, Texas, to the late Johnnie W. Meyers and Girtha Choate, and died Saturday, April 6, 2024, in Madisonville, Texas.

          Mr. Meyers graduated from Diboll High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. 

          Mr. Meyers is survived by his close friends, John and Elaine Smith and their daughters Stephanie Mettlen and husband David, Holly Frankens and husband Tim, and Shelley Smith, Howard and Kathy Smith, Albert and Betty Smith, and Eula Malone and family.

          He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Louise Meyers; and grandparents, Matt and Alley Choate.

          Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Shafer Funeral Home.
