Graveside services for Josephine (Oliver) Renfro, 87, of Etoile, Texas, will be held Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Pavillion at Whitehouse Cemetery in Lufkin at 2:00 p.m., with Brother Van Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Renfro was born on December 11, 1938, in Trinity, Texas, to the late Velma Steve Oliver and the late Geneva Madiline (Snyder) Oliver, and died on Thursday, March 12, 2026, in Lufkin.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her passions were spending time with the family and always cooking up a wonderful meal. She made the best chicken fried steak and buttermilk biscuits. She also loved to crochet, fish, play cards, and travel.
Mrs. Renfro was survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Barbara Bentley of Etoile; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Teresa Bentley of Huntington; daughter and son-in-law, Nita and Freddy Weeks of Etoile; sister, Polly Matthews of Zephyrhills, Florida; sister-in-law, Imagene Oliver of Avinger; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Edward Renfro; brothers, Edward Oliver, Charles Oliver, and Bobby Jack Oliver; and sisters, Ann Hutcherson and Elaine Mosley.
Pallbearers will be Alan Joseph Weeks, Freddy Weeks, Garry Bentley, Craig Lee, Terry Bentley, and Trinity Bentley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alek Ramirez and Danny Mosley.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones at the pavilion at Whitehouse Cemetery in Lufkin, Texas at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2026.
