Juan San Juan

          Funeral services for Juan San Juan, 65, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Martin Navarro officiating. Interment will follow at Berry Cemetery.

          Mr. San Juan was born on June 24, 1959, in Ciudad Mante Tamaulipas, Mexico, to  Pedro San Juan and Maria Del Carmen San Juan, and died Monday, February 17, 2025, in Lufkin.

          Mr. San Juan is survived by his wife, Angelina San Juan; daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Troy Raley; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Carmen and Armando Chacon; son and daughter-in-law, Juan Jr., and Alicia San Juan; son and daughter-in-law, Irvin and Merli San Juan; 14 grandchildren: Joshua, Jaylen, Sienna, James Raley, Isaac, Isaias, and Valentina Chacon, Mia, Melanie, and Aiden San Juan, Irvin Jr., Ian, Ivan and Isael San Juan; great-grandchildren, Mariana Chacon and Adan Hernandez; sister and brother-in-law, Guadalupe and Agustin Ramos; brother and sister-in-law, Carlos and Rossy San Juan; brother and sister-in-law, Jose Luis and Adelina San Juan; brothers, Martin and Isidro San Juan; sister, Gabriela San Juan; brother-in-law, Octavio Sauceda; grandmother, Sotera Hernandez; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

          He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Del Carmen De La Rosa; father, Pedro San Juan, sister, Pascuala Sauceda; and sisters, Simona and Tomasa San Juan.

          Pallbearers will be Juan San Juan, Jr., Irvin San Juan, Troy Raley, Armando Chacon, Carlos San Juan, Martin San Juan, Isidro San Juan, and Agustin Ramos.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Jose Luis San Juan, Octavio Sauceda, and his grandchildren.

          Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Shafer Funeral Home.
