Kash “Money” Riley Yeater

             Funeral services for Kash “Money” Riley Yeater, 6, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Robert Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

            Kash was born on July 8, 2018, in Jasper, Texas, to Ian Yeater and Paiton Rose, and died Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Lufkin.

            Kash “Money” was a very happy child who always had a smile on his face. He didn’t believe in Santa, but he lived up to his name Kash “Money” by still believing in the tooth fairy because of the money under his pillow. He loved spooky things, but he was still afraid of the dark and had to have a light on. His best buddy was his brother Kolt, whom he loved dearly. Kash also loved his baby brother Clinton; he was the only one that could calm him down. He was a gamer boy and loved his video games (especially Among Us and Sonic). Kash enjoyed swimming, school, fishing, and four wheelers. He had a very kind heart and loved to give and receive hugs.        

            Kash is survived by his dad and bonus mom, Ian Yeater and Hailey Senkyrik of Lufkin; mom and bonus dad, Paiton Rose and Clinton Johnson, Jr.; brother, Kolt Yeater; brother, Clinton Johnson III; sister, Addyson Pigg; sister, Alexis Johnson; uncle, Jessie Rose; aunt, Jaiden Whiteside; aunt, Jozee Glasgow; aunt, Olivia Gurerra; uncle, Diesel Stanaland; grandmother and grandfather, Renee and Louis Senkyrik of Lufkin; grandmother and grandfather, Tiffnee and David Skeeters of Lufkin; grandfather and grandmother, Robert and Celes Rodriguez of Nacogdoches; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

            Kash was preceded in death by his grandfather, Scott Yeater; grandmother, Nicole Bell; and aunt, Samantha Bell.

            Pallbearers will be Louis Senkyrik, Diesel Stanaland, David Skeeters, Ian Yeater, Clinton Johnson, Jr., and Larry Lott.

            Honorary pallbearers will be Kolt Yeater and Clinton Johnson III.

            Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2025, at Shafer Funeral Home.
