A Celebration of Life for Kathy E. Fountain, 69, of Huntington, will be held at a later date in Plant City, Florida.
Ms. Kathy was born on March 2, 1954, in Plant City, Florida, to the late Vernon David Calhoun and Sarah Katherine Bernice (Williams) Calhoun, and died Sunday, August 27, 2023, in Huntington.
Ms. Kathy was a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family and cooked every meal for them with love. Ms. Kathy loved to travel and was always up for an adventure. She was intuitive and witty. Ms. Kathy was a great listener and shared her thoughts openly and honestly and had no secrets. She was the epitome of spiritual gifts: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithful, gentle, and self-control. Ms. Kathy was a Proverbs 31 woman.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David E. Fountain of Huntington; children, Leah Sanders and husband Everett of Huntington, Racheal Brown and husband Ray of San Augustine, Michealle Green of Huntington, Mica Fountain and wife Ashley of Toledo, Ontario, Canada, and Cody Green of Huntington; grandchildren, Kindell Cleveland and fiancé Jeffery Leavens, Garrett Brown and wife Harlie, Anna Cleveland and fiancé Lawton Thomas, Baige Brown, Courtney Mason and husband Buzz, Madison Fountain, Natalie Green, Luke Green, Makenna Fountain, Joshuah Fountain, and Jackson Fountain; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Timbre, Byler, Gunner, and Garrison; loving fur baby, Chew-Chew (loved by all, cuddled by few); brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Wendy Calhoun of Lithia, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Johnny English of Lake Panasoffkee, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Tommie Riley of Lakeland, FL; sister, Vanessa Towles of Ozark, AL; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David Calhoun and John Calhoun; and great-granddaughter, Gracelynn.
