Ken Conrad Obituary

         Memorial services for Kenneth Lee Conrad, 68, of Kennard, will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, with Bro. James Whittlesey and Keith Jones officiating. A reception will follow at the Pennington Community Center, located at 11530 FM 358, Pennington, TX 75856.

          Mr. Conrad was born October 25, 1952, in Houston, Texas, to Hebert G. Conrad and Laverne Conrad and died in Lufkin on October 3, 2021.

         Ken married the love of his life, Kimberly, on December 3, 1983, and together, they raised five loving children.

          Ken was an amazing husband, adoring father, and faithful friend. He loved God and his family above all else and had a great sense of humor. He will forever be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.        

          He is survived by his wife of nearly 38 years, Kimberly Conrad of Kennard; daughter Rebecca Conrad of Kennard; daughter and son-in-law, Candice and Gerald Davis of Groveton; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Savanah Conrad of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Britt Callaway of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Shay and Amy Conrad of Huntington; grandchildren, Trishelle Conrad of Huntington, Zachary Callaway, Caleb Callaway, Lillyanna Callaway, all of Alto, Jonah Conrad and Silas Conrad of Lufkin, Natalie Davis and Emilie Davis of Groveton, and Wyatt Duke of Kennard; and brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Shirley Conrad of Houston.

          He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert G. Conrad, mother, Laverne Conrad, and brother, Steven Conrad.
