         Kerry R. Rumsey was born on January 23, 1975, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late Randy Rumsey and Virginia Welch, and died Thursday, March 2, 2023, in Lufkin.

         Kerry was a CNA for many years. She was a tomboy at heart, and you would not catch her carrying a purse or wearing a dress. Kerry loved to joke around. Her grandchildren were her world and she loved spending time with them. 

         Kerry is survived by her husband, Mike McMannes of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Darrel and Diana Rumsey of Lufkin; daughter, Emily Rumsey of Mineral Wells, Texas; granddaughter, Neveah Rumsey of Beaumont, Texas; grandson, Romeo Rumsey of Beaumont, Texas; granddaughter, Allie Rumsey of Beaumont, Texas; mom, Virginia Welch of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Jason Rumsey of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother and sister-in-law, Jeremy and Cynthia Rumsey of Fort Worth, Texas. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members

          She was preceded in death by her father, Johnathan Maras, and sister-in-law, Kim Rumsey.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Sean Kindred, Jason Rumsey, and Jeremy Rumsey.
