Leonard “Lenny” Doyle Nerren

          Memorial Services for Leonard “Lenny” Doyle Nerren, 49, of Lufkin, Texas, will be held at a later date.

          Lenny was born on August 18, 1976, in Lufkin, Texas, to Travis Elton Nerren and the late Gwen Faye (Cordell) Nerren, and died Friday, June 26, 2026, at his residence.

          Lenny was of Baptist faith. He graduated from Angelina College in 2002 as a Registered Nurse. Lenny worked at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital for 10 years. He loved his mother, grandmother, and nephews, Landon and Lawson. Lenny enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, and grilling out. He was an avid sports memorabilia collector and loved flashy sportscars and his cat Patches.

          He is survived by his father, Travis Nerren; brother and sister-in-law, Trent and Candace Nerren; niece, Lauren Ashley and husband Zach McOmber; nephew, Landon Jacob Nerren; nephew, Lawson Cole Nerren; great-nephew, Rudy McOmber; great-niece, Andi McOmber; and uncles and aunts, Kenneth and Laurel Cordell, Joe and Susan Nerren, and Steve and Belinda Nelson.

          Lenny was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Naomi and Leonard Cordell; grandparents, William Doyle Nerren and Billy Jean Nerren; and uncle, Tracey Lee Nerren.

          Honorary pallbearers will be John Jordan, Landon Nerren, Lawson Nerren, and Joe Nerren.
