Lidya Robledo

          Memorial services for Lidya Robledo, 73, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, July 30, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Rev. Marcos Elizondo officiating.

          Ms. Robledo was born on February 21, 1949, in Marion County, Texas, to the late Estevan Gonzales and Frances Gonzales, and died Saturday, July 30, 2022, in Lufkin.

          Ms. Robledo was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lufkin. She enjoyed listening to music, especially church hymns and oldies. Ms. Robledo loved traveling to Corpus Christi and being with her grandchildren. She loved her sons and daughters very much.

          Ms. Robledo is survived by her son, Richard Robledo of Hudson; daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Anthony Gilmore of Tennessee; daughter, Erma Robledo of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Frankie and Gaby Robledo of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Santos and Ana Robledo of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Kristie Robledo and Jesus Segura of Lufkin; son, Robin Robledo of Lufkin; daughter, Mitzi Robledo-Reyes; grandchildren, Lori, Amy and husband Noah, Sandra, Frankie, Guadalupe, Manuel, Maria, Nayelli, Jose, Frankie Alexis, Lucia, Angelica, Frankie Noel, Adriel, Luna, Clarita, Amy, Misty, Anthony, and Alex; great-grandchildren, Christian and Jackleen; sister and brother-in-law, Stella and Marcy Gonzales of Corpus Christi; brothers, Johnny Gonzales, Tony Gonzales, and Steve Gonzales, all of Corpus Christi; and niece, Casandra Olivier of Corpus Christi.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lucio Robledo; son, Robert Robledo; and great-grandmother, Maria Carreon.
