Graveside services for Lisa Weathers, 66, of Pollok, will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Gann Cemetery in Pollok with Bro. Keith Bickley officiating.

            Mrs. Weathers was born on August 11, 1959, in Lufkin, Texas, to the late Leon Carroll and Doris (Woodard) Carroll, and died Friday, July 24, 2026, in Nacogdoches, Texas.

            Mrs. Weathers met her husband Roy when she was a sophomore at Central High School. Her father wouldn’t allow them to get married until she graduated. The very first day after she graduated, she married her high school sweetheart.  Mrs. Weathers worked as a case manager for the Burke Center for over 30 years. She was a great wife, loving mother, and “MeMe”, and loved her family more than anything. Mrs. Weathers enjoyed going on cruises and had been on 22. She attended Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin.

            She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Roy Weathers of Pollok; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Melissa Weathers of Pollok; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Mike Green of Pollok; granddaughter, Brianna Cummins of Huntington; granddaughter, Kaitlyn and C. J. Cassar of Huntington; granddaughter, Skiela Green of Fort Myers, FL; granddaughter, Cadence O’Hanlon of Pollok; grandson, Kason Weathers of Pollok; great-granddaughter, Piper Cummins of Huntington; sister and brother-in-law, Luran and Don Pittmon of Pollok; brother-in-law, Ricky Weathers of Jasper; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bud and Barbara Weathers of Lufkin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Keith and Sylvia Weathers of Pollok; mother-in-law, Shirley Weathers of Pollok; special friends, Lisa May of Etoile, Phyllis Wars of Groveton, and Liz Patschke of Livingston; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

            Mrs. Weathers was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Nolan Weathers; and sister-in-law, Sadie Weathers.

            Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Weathers, Bud Weathers, Kason Weathers, and Jim Hambrick.

            Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 27, 2026, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
