Mrs. Cordova Del Toro was born on July 4, 1966, in Mexico, to the late Felix Del Toro and the late Evangelina Rodriguez, and died Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in Lufkin, Texas.

          Maria loved her flowers, dancing, and cooking. In her free time, she enjoyed watching an exciting game of soccer and her favorite team was Pachuca. She was a talented custom jewelry maker, but above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her husband and her sons. Her most cherished accomplishment was being the best mom. 

          Maria is survived by her husband, Feliciano Cordova of Lufkin; son, Patrick Cordova of Lufkin, Texas; son, James Cordova of Lufkin, Texas; brother, Felix Del Toro, Jr. of Mexico; sister, Juanita Del Toro of Arlington, Texas; brother, Ismael Del Toro of Newalla, Oklahoma; sister, Gracie Mares of Arlington, Texas; eighteen nieces and nephews; and 24 great-nieces and nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Evangelica Ortiz Del Toro; sister, Leticia Del Toro; brother, John Del Toro; and brother, Je’ Del Toro.
