Martin Perez Sr.

           Memorial services for Martin Perez Sr., 54, of Lufkin, will be held Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Pastor Jeremy Yancy officiating.

          Mr. Perez was born December 14, 1965 in Guanajuato, Mexico, to Salvador Perez and Angelina Barron, and died Monday, November 9, 2020 at his residence.

          Mr. Perez attended Timber Creek Church in Lufkin. He was hardworking and a jack of all trades, including farming, mechanics, welding, and electrical. Mr. Perez loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

        Mr. Perez is survived by his wife, Lydia Perez of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Martin Perez Jr. and Misty Perez and Steve and Elizabeth Perez, all of Lufkin; grandchildren, Kayla S’mone Torres, Dakoda Chyle Duke-Perez, Skylar Martin Gaige Perez, Alora Denaye Perez, and Evalette Grayce Perez, all of Lufkin; great grandchildren, Brooklynn Renae Torres and Scarlett Rose Torres; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
