Mary Bayens Webb

          Memorial services for Mary Bayens Webb, 67, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Deacon Gary Trevino officiating.

          Mrs. Webb was born on September 3, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Norbert Szymanski and Marise Agnes (Ford) Szymanski, and died Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at her residence.

          Mrs. Webb embraced life with a smile and gave the best hugs. She enjoyed flower gardening, dancing, crafting, and creating anything she could. Mrs. Webb loved the color purple and butterflies. Above all, she loved her grandchildren and her dogs.

          Mrs. Webb is survived by her daughter, Marie Bayens Hughes and husband David of Lufkin; son, Charlie Bayens and wife Tiffany of Mexia, TX; husband, Ron Webb of Lufkin; grandchildren, Olivia Hughes, Joseph Hughes, David Bayens, Joshua Bayens, Hannah Bayens, Haley Foley, and Aiden Atkins; brother, Jimmy Szymanski and wife Margie of Milwaukee, WI; sister, Iris Nehrbass and husband Jim of Milwaukee, WI; sister, Marie Rathmann of Owasso, OK; sister, Gail Aldridge and husband Darrell of Wasilla, AK; sister, Jean Thompson and husband Stanley of San Antonio, TX; 12 nieces; 3 nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, David Bayens; daughter, Teresa Bayens; brother, Charles Szymanski; and sister, Sandra Thomas.
