A Mass of Christian Burial for Meagan Williams Loyola, 33, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, August 30, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lufkin with Fr. Denzil Vithanage officiating. Interment will follow at Largent Cemetery.
Meagan was born February 9, 1988, in Lufkin, Texas, to Jerry Williams and Monica (Conner) Weeks, and died Monday, August 23, 2021, in Lufkin.
Meagan loved her children very much. She was a soccer mom and loved attending her children’s games. Meagan loved Mexican food and going to the beach. She enjoyed watching the Houston Astros with her husband and the Dallas Cowboys with her dad.
Meagan is survived by her husband, Jose L. Loyola, Jr. of Lufkin; son, Jose M. Loyola of Lufkin; daughter, Olivia M. Loyola of Lufkin; mother and stepfather, Monica and Tim Weeks of Lufkin; father and stepmother, Jerry and Sandra Williams of Lufkin; stepbrothers, Dustin Weeks and wife Beverly, and Logan Weeks, all of Lufkin; stepsisters, Raela Manley and husband Brent, Amanda Weeks, Zoe Klumpp, and Lexi Klumpp, all of Lufkin; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cecilia and Jose Loyola L. Loyola, Sr. of Lufkin; sister-in-law and husband, Yanett and Marco Lopez of Lufkin; sister-in-law and husband, Cecilia and Lance Gamble and their children, Cathy, Lilly, Major, and Mia; along with numerous beloved grandparents, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Carl Doaker Williams and Jerry Lamar Conner.
The family is requesting that all visitors wear a mask to the visitation and funeral service.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m.
