Megan Rashell Chavez, 32, of Houston, was born March 14, 1989, in Galveston, Texas and died July 27, 2021 in Houston.

Megan left this world too soon and will be dearly missed. Until we meet again, we will carry you with us in our hearts and love you forever. You will always be remembered.

Megan is survived by her brother, John Chavez and wife Michelle and their children, Zoey, Khloe, Bailey and Aiden; sisters, Monica Chavez, Joely Hernandez, and Milly Chavez; mother and stepdad, Kimberly and Joe Hernandez; uncle, Mark Minatrea and wife Grace; cousin, Maria; uncle, Bell Loy Needham; nephews, Jorge and Mikey Needham; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
