Graveside services for Miranda Havard, 69, of Pollok, will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Attoyac Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Little officiating.
Mrs. Havard was born July 28, 1951 in Jasper, Texas, to Elton Yarbrough and Dimple (Childs) Yarbrough, and died Friday, November 20, 2020 in Pollok.
Mrs. Havard was a member of Denman Avenue Baptist Church. She was Elvis Presley’s #1 fan. Mrs. Havard loved her puppies Chloe and Zoe. She enjoyed working in her garden and puzzles. Mrs. Havard loved the beach, particularly Mardi Gras and watching the shrimp boats.
She is survived by her husband, Milton Havard of Pollok; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Shawn Ferguson; son, Randall Havard; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Jamie Havard; daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Robby Jones; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Olene Yarbrough; brother, Robert Yarbrough; sister, Helen Wells; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Havard was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Pallbearers will be Paul Havard, Robby Jones, Shawn Ferguson, Jeremey Ferguson, Dylan Havard, and Derik Havard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Jones, Brandon Havard, Jace Watson, and Camron Richardson.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin. The family asks that you wear a mask or facial covering at your own discretion.
