A Celebration of Life for Nadine Izora Moore will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Harmony Hill Baptist Church Life Outreach Center located at 2305 S. John Redditt Dr., Lufkin, Texas. Those attending are asked to wear casual dress.
Nadine was born August 11, 1961, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Paula Jean (Janott) and Alvin Wayne Crawley, Jr., and died Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at a hospital in Tyler.
Nadine worked for 12 years at the Chick-fil-a in the Lufkin Mall and was known far and wide as the “Chick-fil-a Lady”. She enjoyed giving out samples of chicken, greeting people, and was always trying to brighten people’s day. Nadine also enjoyed being part of the Harmony Hill Baptist Church deaf ministry. She had many friends in the deaf community and loved and cared for them all. In spite of her different disabilities, she tried to keep a great attitude and did her best to live life to the fullest. Nadine got to travel many places and do many things We can all take comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus in Heaven, and now has two perfect eyes, and can rip and run and do things she couldn’t do while on this earth.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bobby Moore; daughters, Sarah Moore and Susan Moore; grandson, Henry Moore; uncle and aunt, Ronald and Karen Janott; uncle and aunt, David Janott and Susan Armington; and numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Paul and Izora Janott; grandparents, Alvin Sr. and Florence Crawley; two brothers who passed in infancy; aunt, Mary (Kim) Janott; uncle and aunt, John and Karen Janott; and cousin, Jeffrey Janott.
