Graveside services for Naomi Ruth (Busby) Durham, 80, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Pollok Cemetery in Pollok with Bro. Ty Phillips officiating.
Mrs. Durham was born on September 13, 1943, in Diboll, Texas, to George Busby and Bertie (Allen) Busby, and died Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in Lufkin.
Mrs. Durham was co-owner of East Bow Manufacturers. She was a loving person and never met a stranger. Mrs. Durham loved to play the game “42” with her brothers and sisters. She enjoyed going to Golden Corral, where she was spoiled by all of the staff.
She is survived by her niece and husband, Teresa and John Tatum of Center; son and daughter-in-law, James and Cathryn Durham of Lufkin; son, Bradley Durham of Lufkin; niece, Ann Hendry of Diboll; close family friend, Gracie Rueda of Lufkin; close family friend, Alvin Anderson of Lufkin; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Durham was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Edwin Durham; son, Robbie Durham; brothers, Leonard Busby, Clayton Busby, and D.L. Doyle Busby; and sisters, Marie Bane, Georgia Mae Curry, and Sarah Beth Reynolds.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Hendry, Benny Dominey, Randy Reynolds, and Daniel Rodriguez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Wall, and Nicholas Pharris.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin.
