Pamela Louise and Charles Bruce Earwood

          Pamela Louise “Pam” Earwood, 77 and Charles Bruce “Chuck” Earwood, 80, of Hemphill, Texas both went to be with the Lord, she January 2 and he January 4.  

          Both Mr. and Mrs. Earwood both worked and retired from General Motors.  He served in the Army for 8 years and then joined the National Guard where he retired as a SFC.  They were both faithful members of Fairdale Baptist Church in Hemphill. Mr. and Mrs. Earwood went to be with the Lord nearly 44 hours apart. They both fought terrible diseases. It is a testament of Chucks love for Pam that he remained strong during all of this to take care of her. He completed his role as a loving husband and departed to be with His Lord and his wife.

          They are survived by their son, Steve Earwood and wife Andrea of Choctaw, OK; daughter, Kim Calkins of Conroe, TX;  grandchildren, Drake Earwood of Choctaw, OK, Conner Earwood of Choctaw, OK, Megan Greer of Conroe, TX, and Matthew Calkins of Hemphill, TX; along with 4 great-grandchildren.
