Funeral services for Pat Christopher, 79, of Lufkin, will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Love Tabernacle in Lufkin with Brother Ronnie Frankens officiating. Interment will follow at Alazan Cemetery in Nacogdoches.

          Mrs. Christopher was born on January 21, 1945, in Beaumont, Texas, to the late Charles Gaona and Jean (Tidwell) Clark, and died Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in Lufkin.

          Mrs. Christopher lived her life to the absolute fullest. She enjoyed spending time painting and coloring. Mrs. Christopher loved Jesus and her family.   

          She is survived by her son, David Gaona of Eugene, OR; sister, Cindy Gardner of Jacksonville, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Wendy Gaona of Port Neches, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Rick Calvert of Nederland, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Kevin Lyday of Springfield, LA; sister and brother-in-law, Rosalie and Scott Johnson of Groves, TX; aunt and uncle, Alice and Joe of Nederland, TX; uncle, Tommy Tidwell of Conroe, TX; along with numerous nieces and nephews.    

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Joe Christoper; brother, John Gaona; and sister, Rachael Gaona.

          Pallbearers will be Chester Bowman, Gerson Torres, Richard Gaona, Richard Shelton, Ronnie Frankens, Jr., and John Karson Flowers.

          Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Greater Love Tabernacle.
