Patsy Marie Gunter

          Patsy Marie Gunter, 51, of Lufkin, was born February 12, 1970 in Dallas, Texas, to Gene Grissom and Sandra Grimes, and died Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in Lufkin.

          Ms. Gunter enjoyed photography and writing and was very creative. She loved being a mother and grammy. Her favorite bible verse was Hebrews 11:1.

          Ms. Gunter is survived by her son, Daniel Dean of Nacogdoches; daughter, Kamree Gunter of Diboll; daughter, Khortlyn Gunter of Lufkin; grandchildren, Noah Martinez-Estrada, Sarai Martinez-Estrada, Malkus Martinez-Estrada, and Emma Martinez-Estrada; brother, Christopher Grissom; nephew, Dustin Grissom; lifelong friends, Laraine Richardson and Christina Matthews; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

          She was preceded in death by her parents.

          Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
