Paul Robert Tomlinson

         Memorial Services for Paul Robert Tomlinson, 70, of Apple Springs, Texas, will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Apple Springs Baptist Church in Apple Springs with Brother Mike Due officiating.

          Paul was born on August 17, 1955, in Houston, to the late Jesse LeRoy Tomlinson and the late Nina Maurine (Lee) Tomlinson, and died Monday, July 20, 2026, in Apple Springs.

          Paul was a proud member of the Texas Master Naturalist Program, Piney Woods Lakes Chapter and also a member of the Texas Forest Landowners’ Council and the Texas Forestry Association. He was an avid reader and an active member of Apple Springs Baptist Church where he served as the Assistant Treasurer.

         He is survived by Hugh Tomlinson and wife, Peggy of Corpus Christi; Donna Tomlinson of College Station; and Vera Tomlinson of Lake Charles.

         Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Selma Stone.

         Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Apple Springs Baptist Church.
