Paul Richard Turrentine

          Inurnment services for Paul Richard Turrentine, 64, of Diboll, will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Largent Cemetery in Lufkin.

          Mr. Turrentine was born on February 20, 1959, in Garden Grove, California, to the late Jackie Turrentine and Mary Ann (Linsday) Turrentine, and died Friday, May 5, 2023, in Lufkin, Texas.

          Paul worked as a finish carpenter throughout Angelina and nearby counties for the past 30 years, with a primary focus on trim work in custom homes. He took great pride in his skill, which was evident in his finished work. Paul loved dogs, especially his Jack Russell Terriers and Chihuahuas.

          He is survived by his brothers, Anthoney Turrentine and wife Susan of Dayton, OH, Eric Turrentine and wife Sherrie of Powder Springs, GA, and Joseph Turrentine and partner Charity Tilbury of Rochester, MN; sisters, Teresa Ess and husband Richard of Greenville, SC, Cynthia Hanson and husband Richard of Pomeroy, OH, and Victoria Reti and husband Steven of Santa Clarita, CA; brother-in-law, Jack Barton of Austin, TX; nephews, Nicholas Turrentine and wife Carla Sanchez of Washington D.C., Jeremiah Turrentine and partner Jennifer McCray of Pearland, TX, Travis Barton and wife Amanda of San Antonio, TX, Curtis Barton of Lancaster, CA, Michael Burgess and wife Victoria Hamilton of Manitou Springs, CO, Steven Simons and partner Kristie Lewis of Rangley, CO, Austin Roberts and wife Sandra of League City, TX, and Bryan Turrentine and partner Alison Nordgren of Baldwin, WI; nieces, Autumn Chrimes and husband Zach of The Plains, OH, Kristina Deck and husband Cory of Hoschton, GA, Penny Turrentine of Powder Springs, GA, Katelynn Hin and husband Darith of Rochester, MN, and Stephanie Hodgkiss and husband Josh of Waco, TX;  along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

          Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Anita Louise Barton.
