Phillip Randel McKnight

          Memorial services for Phillip Randel McKnight, 52, of Wells, will be held at a later date.

          Mr. McKnight was born on May 1, 1973, in Lufkin, Texas, to Perry Randel McKnight and Betty Jean (Quine) McKnight, and died Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at his residence.

          Phillip loved his family very much, especially his daughter. He loved taking her shopping. Phillip enjoyed being an outdoor photographer and spending time in nature. He loved to fish and to cook, especially brisket. 

          Phillip is survived by his wife, LaVonuna McKnight of Wells, TX; daughter, Lilly McKnight of Wells, TX; daughter, Allae Roberts of Walterboro, SC; parents, Perry and Betty Jean McKnight of Wells, TX; sister and brother-in-law Donna and Bart Sherrer of Jefferson, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Tina McKnight of Yigo, Guam; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Paul Allen of Bullard, TX; nephews, Kevin Dew, Daniel Sherrer, and Cody McKnight; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

           He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
