Raquel Herrera Sepulveda, 64, of Martinsville, Texas, was born March 27, 1956 in Saucillo, Mexico, to Francisco Herrera and Vicenta Hernandez, and died Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in Nacogdoches.
Mrs. Sepulveda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loved working in her garden and cooking for her family.
Mrs. Sepulveda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Oscar Sepulveda of Martinsville; daughter, Xochitl Sepulveda of Juarez, Mexico; daughter, Osiris Sepulveda of Juarez, Mexico; daughter and son-in-law, Cinthia and Michael Cooper of Blackjack, Texas; granddaughters, Mariana Yanez of Juarez, Mexico, Alex Diaz of Nacogdoches, TX, and Aliza Sepulveda of Juarez, Mexico; grandsons, Ernesto Yanez and Daniel Diaz, both of Juarez, Mexico; great granddaughter, Emma Carrazco Yanez of Juarez, Mexico; and great grandsons, Jake Cooper and Hunter Cooper, both of Blackjack, TX; and brothers, Alfredo Herrera of Arkansas, Damian Herrera of Oregon, Valentin Herrera of Nacogdoches, and Jose Herrera of Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Oscar Damian Sepulveda; and brother, Javier Herrera.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
