Robert L. Walzem

          Mr. Robert L. Walzem was born on December 15, 1967, in Houston, Texas, to  the late Benjamin Walzem and Mary (Vanston) Amerson, and died Sunday, December 21, 2025, in Huntington.

          Robert loved fishing and hunting, and he was famous for quoting football stats from years gone by. He honored his country by serving in the United States Army. 

          He is survived by his mother, Mary Amerson; stepfather, Gary E. Amerson; brother, Michael Norton; sister-in-law, Mona Lisa Norton; brother, Gary L. Amerson; sister-in-law, Melissa Amerson; sister, Dawn Amerson; aunt, Valerie Aaron; uncle, Brad Aaron; multiple nieces and nephews; cousins and friends; and best friend, Pam Dominey.

          Mr. Walzem was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Walzem; sister, Patricia Ann Walzem; brother, David Norton; grandparents, Louis Walzem, Otilia Walzem, Robert Vanston, and Virginia Vanston; and several aunts and uncles.
