Graveside services for Ronda (Holsomback) Sharp, 64, of Lufkin, will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells, Texas, with Pastor Richard Owens officiating.

          Ms. Sharp was born on May 31, 1961, in Lufkin, Texas to the late Lloyd Holsomback, Jr. and the late Syble Annette (Allen) Holsomback, and died on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Lufkin.

          Ronda loved children and was dedicated to their care, exemplified by her work at both Jack and Jill Daycare and the Lufkin State Supported Living Center and School. In addition to children, she had a deep love of animals. Ronda had a knack for crafting and was especially talented at crocheting. During her down time, she enjoyed playing games on her phone and was an avid reader. Ronda relished spending time outdoors, and one of her favorite things to do was to camp with her children.

          She is survived by son, Wayne Lusk and his wife, Norma of Lufkin; son, Lloyd Lusk and Sherry, of Tennessee Colony, Texas; stepson, Brandon Sharp of Lufkin; grandson, Lloyd Allen Lusk; granddaughter, Brittany Justus, grandson, John Justus II; great-grandson, Daigon Justus; great-grandson, Xander Justus; numerous nieces and nephews; sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Kevin Runnels of Lufkin; and sister and brother-in-law, Janine and Mike Sullivan of Pollok, Texas.

          Ms. Sharp was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Chester and Ivaline Allen; grandparents, Loyd and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Holsomback; aunt, Sharon Fitts and her husband, Bobby; and aunt, Diann Smith and her husband, Joe.           

          Pallbearers will be Landon Gresham, Kamden Gresham, Lance Gresham, John Justus, Allen Lusk, Jimmy Lyles, Branden Fitts, and Michael Conner.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Xander Justus and Daigon Justus.
