Funeral services for Rosalie Grayson, 82, of Pollok, will be held Monday, June 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Pastor Virgil Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells.
Mrs. Grayson was born on March 3, 1943, in Kermit, Texas, to the late Robert Daniel Griggers and Iletta (Finley) Griggers, and died Thursday, June 26, 2025, in Lufkin.
Mrs. Grayson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wells for many years. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Grayson enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed Blue Grass Festivals. Mrs. Grayson loved her family and her dog, Blue, very much.
Mrs. Grayson is survived by her daughter, Lynanne “Nan” Alsbrooks of Lufkin; son and fiancé, Reece Grayson and Aida Griffen of Pollok; daughter and fiancé, Kim Davis and Donnie Carver of Wells; stepdaughter, Jan James and partner Deb Borman of Denver, CO; grandson, Jonathan Grayson; grandson, Dakota Grayson; grandson and wife, Jeffery and Brittney Grayson; grandson and wife, Garrett and Raven Rogers of Wells; granddaughter and husband, Miranda and Shane Wells of Burke; grandson, Luke Alsbrooks of Austin; along with numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Grayson; brothers, Edgar Griggers, Robert Dean Griggers, Clyde Griggers, and Dan Griggers; and sisters, Ruth Ellen Griggers and Corine Nichols.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Grayson, Jeffrey Grayson, Garrett Rogers, Luke Alsbrooks, Shane Wells, Brent King, and Hunter Grayson.
Special memorials may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Ave., Lufkin, Texas 75901.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Shafer Funeral Home.
