Ruthie "Ruth" Parish

          Ruthie “Ruth” Parish, 65, of Lufkin, was born on April 1, 1959, in Riverside, California, to John Wesley Parish and Ruthie Mae (Lambright) Parish, and died Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in Diboll.

          Mrs. Parish enjoyed crocheting, painting, and traveling. She was of Baptist faith.

         She is survived by her husband, Gary Dunlap of Lufkin; son, Dusty Dunlap of Lufkin; daughter, Allie Cox of Lufkin; stepdaughter and husband, Rebecca and Richard Armstrong of Big Spring, Texas; stepdaughter, Sarah Dunlap of Big Spring, Texas; son, Kevin Dunlap of Big Spring, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; cousin, Cynthia Oliver of Lufkin; along with numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

        She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Johnny Parish and sister, Rhonda Shaw.
