Sam Wells

          Graveside services for Sam Wells, 64, of Lufkin, will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Conner Cemetery in Ratcliff with Bro. Ty Phillips officiating.

          Mr. Wells was born on June 15, 1961, in Crockett, Texas, to the late Donald Wells and Marie (Williams) Glover, and died Friday, June 27, 2025, in Lufkin.

          Mr. Wells lived life to the fullest. He loved to camp, fish, and hunt. 

          Mr. Wells is survived by his brother, Robert Wells of Lufkin; brother, Ronald Wells of Ratcliff; brother and sister-in-law, Mack and Mary Glover of Lufkin; nephew, Mike Wells of Ratcliff; nephew, Mo Zahn of Lufkin; and niece, Crystal Steptoe of Lufkin.

           He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Don Wells.
