Sharron (Stuart) Allen

          Memorial services for Sharron (Stuart) Allen , 81, of Huntington, will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Huntington Church of Christ in Huntington, Texas with Brother Thomas Riley officiating.

          Ms. Allen was born on March 27, 1944, in Lufkin, Texas, to the late Jessie Lee Stuart and the late Mary Alice (Phillips) Stuart, and died Friday, February 13, 2026, in Lufkin.

          Sharron was a faithful member of Huntington Church of Christ and was dedicated to helping others. She could often be found baking and cooking for those in need and caring for anyone who was sick. She loved baking pies and cakes for others, especially around the holidays. She had the heart of a servant and always put others first.

          She ran a home daycare service for many years and operated a home cleaning service for over 20 years. She was lovingly known as “Meme” by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

          She is survived by her son, Bryan Anglin of Huntington; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Sherman Thomas of Huntington; granddaughter, Carlie Merritt and husband, Adam Merritt of Lufkin; granddaughter, Matty DuPree and husband, Mason DuPree of Zavalla; grandson, Kaleb Anglin and fiancé, Trinity Bono of Brookeland; granddaughter, Kacey Anglin and significant other, Tucker Weeks of Brookeland; great-grandchildren, Hadley, Lilly, Jessi and Annie; brother-in-law, David Brunner and wife, Claudia Brunner of Huntington; aunt, Jo Ann Pate of Dickinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gloria Wilkinson; sister, Sarah Brunner; nephew, Robert Wilkinson; and nephew, Steven Brunner and wife, Stefanie Brunner.
