Memorial Services for Sonny Jacobs, 58, of Lufkin, Texas will be held at a later date.

         Mr. Jacobs was born on May 24, 1968, in Lufkin, Texas to the late Gary Lynn Jacobs and the late Wynona Kay (Smith) May, and died Monday, September 7, 2026, in Lufkin.

          In his free time, you could find Sonny fishing and hunting. He has a talent for working on bicycles and designing and building custom motors for them. Even though many might consider it a chore, Sonny enjoyed mowing grass and just being outside.

          He is survived by his wife, Heather Jacobs of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Rebecca Jacobs of Lufkin; nephew and wife, Kody and Rosemarie Jacobs of Lufkin; nephew and wife, Nicholas and Hannah Jacobs of Lufkin; nephew and wife, Matthew and Abby Jacobs of Lufkin; great-nieces and nephews, Scarlett, Violett, Elijah, Samuel, Eleanor, and Myles Jacobs; and special friend, Tiffany Suggs.

          Mr. Jacobs was preceded in death by his parents.
