Steven Anthony Brunner

          Memorial services for Steven Anthony Brunner, 62, of Huntington, will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Huntington Church of Christ in Huntington with Bro. Thomas Riley officiating.

          Mr. Brunner was born on September 5, 1962, in Lufkin, Texas, to David Anthony Brunner and Sarah (Stuart) Brunner, and died Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in Conroe.

          Mr. Brunner worked for a Cybershield corporation for over 30 years. He enjoyed going for rides on backroads and watching “GunSmoke”. Mr. Brunner loved to read, listen to music, cars, trucks, and motorcycles. And he loved being a “Papa”.  He was very much a people person and was known and loved by so many. Mr. Brunner was a member of Huntington Church of Christ.   

          He is survived by his daughter and husband, Jordan and Adam Burkett of Cushing, Oklahoma; daughter and husband, Allison and Joshua Robbins of Huntington; son, Scott Brunner, of Huntington; grandchildren, Killian and Mary Katherine; father and step-mother, David and Claudia Brunner of Huntington; sister and husband, Sherry and Robert Lindsey of Huntington; sister and husband, Donna and Gregg Parker of Allen, Texas; along with numerous other family members.

          He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Stefanie Adams Brunner; and mother, Sarah (Stuart) Brunner.
