Private Graveside Services will be held for Sue Nell (Davis) Wadsworth, 89, of Lufkin.
Mrs. Wadsworth was born on October 11, 1935, in Broaddus, Texas, to the late Ezell Davis and Lois (Colwell) Davis-Beard, and died Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in Lufkin.
Mrs. Wadsworth retired from Clark’s Department Store in Lufkin. She was an excellent seamstress and loved to crochet. Mrs. Wadsworth was known for her delicious fried pork chops and fried chicken. She enjoyed horror movies, shopping, going out to eat, and vacationing with family. Above all, Mrs. Wadsworth loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Loye Martin of Lufkin; son, David Wadsworth of Lufkin; grandchildren, Chase Martin, Chad Martin, and Kaylee Martin, all of Lufkin; great-grandchildren, Chasten Martin of Wells, Aubrey Martin of Lufkin, and Reese Martin of Lufkin; and niece, Terri Davis of Lufkin.
Mrs. Wadsworth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Wadsworth; and infant son, Billy Joe Wadsworth.
