Terry Clark

        Funeral services for Terry Clark, 75, of Hudson, will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Bro. Elton Musick officiating. Interment will follow at Wallace Chapel Cemetery in Lufkin.

       Mr. Clark was born on July 16, 1947, in Lufkin, Texas, to  Orvil Clark and Billie Jean (Brock) Clark, and died Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in Lufkin.

       Terry was employed with Lufkin Police Department for many years as a police officer. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Terry enjoyed fishing and building things. He rode with the Patriot Guard for 2 years. Terry loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.  

       He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cathy Clark of Hudson; daughter and son-in-law, Patti and J.R. Ward of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Wade Carter of Cottonwood, CA.; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Zibbie Anders of Pollok; daughter and son-in-law, Catrina and Bobby Walker of Huntington; daughter, Ruthie Clark of Lufkin; 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Melvin Lowe of Apple Springs; brother and sister-in-law, and Dennis and Phylis Clark of Hudson.

       Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jeff Clark.

       Pallbearers will be Dustin Clark, Joe Burton, Cody Clark, Romi Bourgeois, Bobby Walker, and Zibbie Anders.

       Honorary pallbearers will be Melvin Lowe, Dennis Clark, and Price Anders.

       Special memorials may be made to Hospice In The Pines, 1504 W. Frank St., Lufkin, TX. 75904, Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter (Vetting Fund), 1020 McGregor Dr. Lufkin, TX  75904,  and/or the Winnie Berry Humane Society of Angelina County, 1102 N. John Redditt Dr. Lufkin, TX 75904.

        Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Shafer Funeral Home.
