Funeral services for Theresa “Terri” Haines, 75, of Bullard, will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Louis Turner and Dane Perkins officiating. Interment will follow at Stryker Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas.

           Mrs.  Haines was born on December 20, 1950, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to the late Charles Turner and Marie (Stowe) Turner, and died Friday, December 26, 2025, in Tyler.

          Mrs. Haines was a dietician and worked as a cook at Nan Travis Hospital in Jacksonville for many years. She loved to cook and was wonderful at it. Mrs. Haines was an avid doll collector. She loved her family more than anything.

          She is survived by her husband of 29 ½ years, Daniel Haines of Bullard; son, Russel Craig Bailey of Bullard; son, James Jacobs of Jacksonville; son, Jason Jacobs of Ft. Worth; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Kenneth Cecil of Bullard; son, Caleb Haines of Pollok; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Shana Haines of Lufkin; granddaughter, Allison Jacobs; grandson, Ethan Jacobs; grandson, Aaron Jacobs; granddaughter, Kendell Jacobs; granddaughter and husband, Haleigh and Zack Littleton; granddaughter and husband, Hannah and Trevor Long; great-granddaughter, Cassie Littleton; great-granddaughter, Iris Long; grandson, Gavin Haines; great-granddaughter, Amy Masi; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Harriet Turner of Ft. Worth; and brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Janie Turner of Chandler.

          Mrs. Haines was preceded in death by her parents.

          Pallbearers will be Kenneth Cecil, David Haines, Caleb Haines, Ryan Haines, Zak Littleton, and Dane Perkins.

          Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin, prior to the funeral service.
