Tommie Jean Perser

          Memorial services for Tommie Jean Perser, 64, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Pastor Trey Thompson officiating.

          Mrs. Perser was born May 4, 1958, in Lubbock, Texas, to the late Dewell Wendell Pearce and Charlene Elizabeth Wilkes Pearce, and died Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in Pollok.

          Tommie devoted her life to taking care of her family. She was a loving mother, and specially loved her grandchildren. She was truly a wonderful person. She loved her family and friends with all of her heart.

           She is survived by her daughter, April Perser of Lufkin, daughter, Sarah Perser of Colorado, daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Daniel Lopez of Pollok, son, Tyler Perser of Pollok, grandson, Joey Pearce of Pollok, granddaughter, Katie Lopez of Pollok, mother, Charlene Pearce of Tyler, honorary daughter, Mary Kathrine Horton of Pollok, lifelong friend and his daughter, Paul and Natalie Kent of Sour Lake, Tx, along with other family and close friends.

          She was preceded in death by her father, daughter, Brandi Lane, and granddaughter, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Pearce.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Don and Eunice Self, Sherry Lane, M. Kathleen Shurley Wright and kids, Jana Engelken, Teresa Moore Rucka and Jeanette Barley.
