Tommy Pitman

          Memorial services for Tommy R. Pitman, 78, of Onalaska, will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas, with Rev. Sean Ferry and Rev. Dr. Jerry Pitman officiating.

          Mr. Pitman was born a twin on July 3, 1945, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Thaddeus Pitman and Mary Dancer, and died Thursday, August 24, 2023, in Lufkin.

          Mr. Pitman was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Pitman was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed barbequing and golfing.

          Mr. Pitman is survived by his daughter, Leah Nicole “Nikki” Pitman of Denton, TX; grandsons, Joey Contreras and Blue Giles, both of Denton, TX; twin brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Dr. Jerry and Kathern “Kathy” Pitman of Lufkin; and brother and sister-in-law, Randall “Randy” and Deborah Pitman of Georgetown, TX.

          He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Mary Pearl Pitman.

          Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Pitman, Darrell Pitman, Jim Oliver, Rick Andrews, Bob Tardif, and Bob Scalf.
